Cadastral Surveying
We offer cadastral surveying, land information and data management as an integrated service for our land development, telecommunication, transportation, resource development and engineering clients. Our professional land surveyors and land management specialists provide services from basic pre-emption surveys to land management programs and GIS integration. These services include:
  • Land registration consulting
  • Cadastral map compilation
  • Integration of cadastral and GIS databases
  • System design and setup
  • Training and technology transfer
Geodetic/Control Surveys
Our surveyors and geodetic engineers provide field survey services using conventional methods and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). Since 2002, we have completed the road net geodetic survey at every level. GPS positioning can be applied to either land or airborne projects, providing absolute navigation and geodetic position accuracy. Our positioning systems and applications can provide:
  • Survey control network design and analysis
  • Combining conventional and GPS techniques
  • Aircraft positioning for aerial photography
  • Precise vertical control surveys
  • Photo control for route mapping of pipelines, roads and transmission lines
  • Deformation monitoring
  • Hydrographic surveys
  • Telecommunication surveys
Route location Surveys
We provide route location surveys integrating ground surveys, aerial photography, digital mapping, and engineering to provide you with project planning, design, construction and GIS as-built records within the your schedule and budget. Applications include:
  • Resource industries access and haul roads
  • Pipelines
  • Transmission lines
  • Railroads
  • Canals and river diversions
  • Urban and rural roads and highways
Global Positioning System (GPS) Technology
The Global Positioning System (GPS) provides satellite-based positioning for land, marine, and airborne projects. The top level of accuracy is as follows:
  • Horizontal accuracy to +/- 5 mm
  • Vertical accuracy to +/- 2 cm
  • Real-time positioning to accuracy +/- 2 cm

GPS data collection for surveys is processed in the field and can be digitally transferred to the office for map compilation. GPS applications and integration include:
  • Road location surveys
  • Drill hole location
  • Test sample location
  • Aerial photo control
  • Forest management surveys
  • Route location
  • Hydrographic surveys
  • Deformation monitoring
  • Municipal infrastructure
  • GIS data surveys
  • Precision agriculture surveys
  • Site surveys
  • Communication tower locations
